along with that, and this isn't my favorite, i HATE it but don't feel like starting a new thread about it:

"thingy"

people who use that word are idiots.

One time, and friend and I were at another friend's house, and noticed a huge-jass dictionary sitting on his coffee table. When I say huge, I mean HUGE!

I joked to my friend.. "I bet that dictionary has everyy word in the english language, and some that don't exist... like Flirzelkwerp."

Thus a legend was born.

Bambustang (pronounced Bambushtang). When I was a little kid I was singing some english songs don't remember what but I didn't know english so I was "inventing" ones for my melody. This is the only one I can remember so far.

Expotential
-- Maybe not invented but I hear it a lot used in place of "exponential"
We like to think of it as meaning "to have had potential but not now" or "losing potential at an astounding rate". Surfing the ubuntu forums while I'm at work really increases my expotential!

Yeah, Ok, I shouldn't have said "invented"
I could of said "made up" or "silly words".
I was kind of hoping that the example would give a clue as to what I was aiming for, silly me ](*,)

I have heard people say "Furry Muff" in place of "Fair Enough",
"Anyhoo" in place of "Any How",

I am an English teacher and find words fascinating, especially Bilingual crossovers, slang and "invented words OF THE MODERN DAY ERA" :D

It's as old as sin in my side of the world, but MS Office has never been called that. It has always been called MS Orifice.

Grundle

Probably offensive to most, so I provide a link to the definition from Urban Dictionary:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=grundle

Also, the Urban Dictionary has a ton of these.

I like wtfness.......also, in an English paper I coined the chat slang WCTF, or What a Cruel Twist of Fate. It was originally WACTOF, but that sounds perverted, as I put in a footnote. I like **** too. Abbie Hoffman said, in the testimony of the Chicago Seven trial "I like that four letter word---I thought it was kind of holy, actually."

they're all invented. Evolved, more like.

My favorite word of all time (Not just invented)?

Gynotikolobomassophile-n, someone who enjoys chewing on women's ears
eg, "You're such a gynotikolobomassophile!"

Followed closely by

Perjinkities-n, niceties
eg, "Let's stop these perjinkities!"
