i currently dual boot windows 7 and ubuntu (maverick). i want to set up a small server (for minecraft :P) using hamachi (which i already have set up on ubuntu).
i was wondering if there's any distros as close to ubuntu as possible that don't suck RAM, and how do i install them over ubuntu without affecting my windows install? thanks.
the second bit (installing another distro over ubuntu without affecting dual boot) is pretty important to me, as i may end up trying mineOS and ubuntu studio, although i once got scared away by ubuntu studio's install interface...
