Dear All,

I upgrade my ubuntu from 10.10 to 11.04.
When I restart my computer, after the upgrade process is completed, I see the desktop items and background but I can not see the main menu, and Alt + F2 and Alt + Ctrl + T does not work. and all of windows do not have title bar.

I can open items on my desktop and every thing seems be ok.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

I presume that you are experiencing that issue in Unity, the "Session" option "Ubuntu" at the login screen. The option "Ubuntu Classic" will get you to your previously used desktop, btw.

To fix Unity, see this troubleshooting guide:

Greetings.

Great, I was just having some issues like this, and I did indeed not have all the required Compiz-plugins set. Will see how this goes.
