After the demise of Pride it was never the same, the ufc is all but a shadow of Pride.

Not only did Pride look like a scripted professional wrestling show but some of the fights actually were fixed... I don't miss the cheesy entrances or annyoing screaming female announcer at all. What I do miss is soccer kicks and stomps...

For me, soccer kicks and stomps are excessive but knees on the ground is a must. Also, yes Pride had so many memorable fights but at the end it was more of a show than an event.

I love some of those stomp and soccer kick highlights. Shogun vs Jackson and also vs Diabate both provided some memorable highlights. But I can understand them not being legal as they turn a lot of casual viewers off and hurt the reputation of the sport.
