I recently installed ubuntu 11.04 on my computer and all had been going good :guitar: except for this little snag.:mad:
here's the thing :
whenever i try to install something using the software center, the file doesn't get downloaded and the progress bar says "applying changes" which obviously goes on for infinity.
I read somewhere that another guy had been experiencing similar problems after installing "ubuntu restricted extras" (codecs) and he solved it by uninstalling the codecs.
I noticed that even my last successful install was those codecs
problem is, my s/w center doesn't even uninstall them.

i don't know any other way to install apps nor can i figure out how to reinstall s/w center.
please help!
