Hello, my aunt has a 2001 Dell computer with 256MB RAM. Since it is not a fast computer, I was thinking of putting an older Ubuntu edition that might not have taken much juice (correct me if the newer ones don't take any more than the older ones).
Since my aunt knows nothing about computers, I was wondering if there is an edition of Ubuntu that was particularly stable and trouble-free, like 10.10 seems to be for me.
Thanks for the help! Her computer has a virus in windows. I don't recall if Ubuntu startup disk would give the option of deleting windows and installing only Ubuntu?
