Which program is the easiest and best out there to edit video recordings with? What would you recommend? :guitar:

I would recommend trying Openshot. I don't really video edit, but if I had to, this is what I'd use.

There is also pitivi which is available in the Ubuntu repos: http://www.pitivi.org/

Kdenlive or Openshot. For the latest version of Openshot:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jonoomph/openshot-edge
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openshot openshot-doc

Verson 1.3.1 is the current release. It's simple to use, just import files and drag them on the tracks. You can trim clips and add effects/transitions.

kdenlive

It does have a small/moderate learning curve for how to get the effects to show when adding effects, but other than that it's a breeze to use.

(I don't know how to do anything with Video, honestly, I barely can convert it without using WinFF, but kdenlive makes it so easy to actually Edit it).
