Hi All
I have been working on this problem for the past 3 days with numorous websites help, but to no avail.

I am trying to install Ubuntu Server 10.04 64 bit on a server that has 2x 74GB SATA Raptor Hard Drives and 3x 750GB SATA WD Hard Drives. I want to set it up so that the two 74 GB hard drives are in RAID 1 with the primary boot partition, and that the three 750 GB hard drives are in RAID 5 with data and such on them.

I am able to create the software RAIDs and format everything as I want, get through the complete Ubuntu Server installation, however, when I restart the computer, I get

"Booting from local disk...

Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Bood device and press any key"

I have been unable to find anything that could be causing this and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Andy
