Can't run live disc 11.04 black screen

Hello I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem. I don't have the knowledge to know what to do next.
I'm trying to run the live disc of 11.04 as I want to dual boot with it. I've checked the MD5 and checked the disc for faults and they're ok but I just end up with a black screen. The graphics card is ATI 4550.

You are most likely hanging on the video driver loading.

You can do the same fixes in grud to boot the LiveCD (hold down the [shift] key when booting from the LiveCD to set the visible grub menu.
