View Full Version : [SOLVED] problem with gnome panel

hey all,I am new to to Linux OS,recently I have installed Ubuntu 10.10.Sometimes,I find the gnome panel strange as seen in the attachment below.When this strange thing happens I can't find shut-down button on the gnome panel.
Can anyone kindly suggest me as of how to get rid of this problem

Not a solution, just a workaround. Press Alt + F2 and type:


killall gnome-panel

The panels would be reloaded and hopefully, back in shape.
