OpenVPN without Key, but required password

Hi,

I am setting up OpenVPN on Ubuntu. and it needs OpenVPN GUI, key certs and configuration file. It working. But is there a way to configure this VPN server that does not require the key cert, configuration file? Will just use the username and password to be able to connect to VPN. Just need it to be very simple to connect.
