Recently I had to reinstall Ubuntu 10.10 after 11.04 crashed irretrievably(long story). One thing I REALLY liked about 11.04 (with GNOME instead of Unity) is that touch-pad movement was MUCH smoother.
How can I get this driver that was on 11.04 for 10.10?
Oh, I using a Toshiba Satellite L505d-s5983.

Be brave and go back to natty ;) join us on the dark side....
Except, this time, be careful what you tweak!

I see what you're saying but maybe the OP actually wants to get some work done! Maybe 11.04 on a separate partition for the fun-time learning curve! (I generally don't get enough time for that.)

My mouse works great. I plugged it into the jack, and I don't have to use that touch pad anymore. Same laptop as yours. :P

Yup, I've got a wireless mouse that I don't always like to use.
Oh, and wasn't 9.04 a total slug for you? LOL
