hi, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15 w/AMD Athlon II processor. I burned an installation CD and I only get partway thru the installation when it fails to allow me to complete it. I get to the "Install - Who are you" page when the progress bar stops partway thru and says "Ready when you are". I am attempting to load the 32 bit version.
thanks, Bob

Bob,
This is typically caused by three things:
* Damaged ISO (redownload, using bit torrent if possible )
* Less-than-perfect Burn (Burn CD again at slowest available speed OR install from a LiveUSB)
* Your 4 primary partitions are already taken on your hard drive.

Use unetbootin http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ to convert the ISO into a LiveUSB (if you choose to go that route).
