I got laptop with an ATI Radeon HD 4250. I have Ubuntu 11.04 and i have downloaded ATI drivers from ATI site and succesfully installed them, and they are fine. But i want use an external monitor. I got an Samsung P2370HD television, 23" screen. When i try to connect it with VGA-cable, it is detected as Uknown and max resolution is 1600x1200. I want 1920x1080. How to add it? And if i try to enable 1600x1200, it fails. It doesnt work. Then if i take that it shows same picture in other screen (and thats what i want) it sets external monitor resolution to 1366x768 which is in my laptop too, and 1366x768 is painful to watch in 23" screen. Please help me, i want same picture like in my laptop screen and 1920x1080 resolution to external monitor. Thanks if someone helps me. :cry: :cry: :cry:
