I live in Australia and I was going to buy a linux mag for the first time and i'm not not sure which ones are good. When i was a windows users this wasn't hard at all. But since I've only had ubuntu for 3 months now i'm not sure which mag is best for me.

Any suggestions

I'd recommend Linux Format (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=173604)

If you have little or no interest in programming or running a server, then Linux Format is the most appropriate for you. The other magazines are more about programming, running servers, getting Linux to run on embedded devices, etc.

Nice to hear from a fellow Australian.

Have you looked at the free magazine Tux which can be downloaded from here (http://www.tuxmagazine.com/). I find it interesting and informative although it occasionally puts Ubuntu down.
