So on ebay about 10 days ago I bought a 4gb Credit Card USB Flash Drive for $11. Was a good price for what it actually is. Anyways I just tested it out and it does full work its NOT some cheap knockoff that corrupts when trying to transfer a file.

Anyways now I keep it in my wallet. It is the size of a credit card, but it is about 1.5 credit cards deep. So not as skinny as a credit card but not bulky either. Anyways you can get different designs but I wanted mine to resemble a credit card :P cause it just looks cooler I think. Anyways happy that I received it and wanted to share it with someone :) Unfortunately I couldn't choose the numbers or the name so no its not my real name. But that would be cool if someone did let you choose that.

I'm confused. Do you use that to buy stuff, or to store data on?

Hehe. Not its just a flash drive that looks like a credit card. You can't actually buy stuff with it. Since its just a printed design. Its the same design on the back and front.

Ubuntu 10.04.2 recognizes it and it fully works.

I just got one of these the other day. It's a 4GB USB drive for $8.99, so that's pretty close.

cool, but what happens when your wallet is in your back pocket and you sit down? any danger of breaking it?

I don't believe there is any danger of actually breaking it. Haven't fully tested it out but I'm pretty sure its quite durable.

Wouldn't matter any tbh the chances are it'd break at the joint & you could still use the usb mem section without the card - eBay has some really nice ones, one with penguins - Ubuntu here's a good idea ;-)

I too have an unusual-looking flash drive.

I didn't get it for the look though. I wanted something I could keep on my keychain without it breaking off. Mine is 16GB, so it should last me a long time.

Aren't you at all concerned about, say, a mugger stealing your credit cards and thus getting your data? I doubt they'd normally be interested in flash drives, but they'd get yours in that case. Even if they didn't do anything with it, you'd lose your files in addition to the usual stuff. Then again, a mugger could make me hand over my car keys and get my flash drive. Hmm...

Me neither, at least not until 5 days ago. It only cost me $7 and to ship it to my house :D
