Hi, firstly sorry if this is the wrong forum for this type of thread, I'm new so abit confused as where to go! Anyways, I recently upgraded my CPU from a Intel Core 2 Duo to a Core 2 Quad, when I was running the Duo Linux ran fine but since upgrading I now receieve this error:

Keyboard freezes so no commands become available, only way out is a hard reset. I'm running Ubuntu 10.10(the version available from the official ubuntu website), I had recently full updated Linux so if I can I would prefer to not have to reinstall it as I'm using Mobile Broadband Dongle to connect to internet and 300MB+ of updates is not along quite awhile but a large chunk out of my data allowance. If any other information is required I'll be happy to help as long as you are!
Thanks in advance!
