When you detach a tab from firefox it creates a new window. Then once the new window is created in order to tile the window you must drag again.
Unity offers half screen tiling and fullscreen maximizing by dragging to screen edges.
It would be awesome to just drag a firefox tab to the left of the screen and bam it tiles to half of the screen.
