Hello everybody, I recently installed Ubuntu and have spent the last few days getting my head round it, I understand simple commands and things like SPM, yet I cannot figure out how to install the .Net framework 4.0. I am currently running Ubuntu 11.10 (I think)
I googled and it's given me these commands to type:
You must first remove a registry key because Wine lies about installed .NET Framework versions due to "MONO" integration.
*$ wine reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4" /f*
Then start the installer of .NET 4.0 Framework.
*$ wine dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe
* **
With the wine reg delete command, I get this error:
Error: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value
Googling this error brings no resolve, can anybody help me?
