I just installed natty narwhal and the new gnome is missing some features I was used to having.
The first is the widgets, applets or whatever you call the little thing you could add to the top bar (what ever it is called). There is no right button menu for it any more. The one I really miss is the one where you could add non-keyboard characters in several drawers for easy cutting and pasting.
The second is the placing of application menus on the top bar instead of the window for the application itself. What were they thinking? It's just more mouse movement and more clicks to do things that were done with fewer and less.
Is there a configuration option where I can fix these?
