Ken Griffey Jr. When I was growing up, I played center field so I could be just like him and I always wore his number. The amount of golden gloves he recieved combined with his skill at bat, puts him at the top of my list.

Not sure who my favorite for people currently playing though... possibly Neil Walker at the moment.

Griffey would have been one of the greatest baseball players of my generation if he hadn't gotten injured so much. He would definitely have the homerun record too. I grew up watching him and even got to meet him once.

Not Ryan Giggs. Currently it would be Jenson Button for all of time it would have to be Nigel Mansell.
