Hi there -
Relative newb with ubuntu - been running 10.04 on previous laptop and love ubutu! However, upgraded to new Toshiba Sat Pro laptop and just tried 11.04 from CD. Working fine, so went to install to hard drive.
Problems immediately after install when tried to restart machine (reported here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/786126 (http://ubuntuforums.org/href=) on lunchpad) but since then have lost the option of restarting/shutting down the OS. In short, I can't reboot through the usual red circular button in the top right of the desktop.
Is this something someone else has seen?
