Recommend Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Action-Adventure Shows and Movies

I find these genres pretty entertaining lately, and I've been looking for more movies or shows like this. I would prefer if they are on netflix as I can stream on my computer, but any recommendation is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Blade Runner just might be the greatest science fiction (film or otherwise) ever produced. I'm not sure what you mean by Action-Adventure, but why not have a look at The Hidden Fortress (an adventure film), one of the principal inspirations for the plot of Star Wars.

You can "rent" them through Amazon.com and they are playable on Ubuntu/Linux. In fact I'm watching season 6 as we speak.

Start with Series 1 with Chris Eccleston as the Doctor. Although my favorite is David Tennant. Matt Smith is the latest actor to play the Doctor and this season is turning out pretty good.
