I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04 on my laptop. But the software manager doesn't work.I tried to install Google Chrome and Transcriber through the Software Centre. In both cases, after I click on the "install" button, nothing happens. Any solutions will be really appreciated.
Also, where is the equivalent of "update" in synaptic package manager in earlier versions? I can't seem to figure out how to update in 11.04. Thanks.
