Hey All,

I'm trying to install Ogre3d on a 10.10 version of ubuntu and I am following the ogre3d installation guide but when I typing this line in terminal

sudo apt-get install pkg-config build-essential autoconf automake libtool libzzip-dev libxt-dev libxxf86vm-dev libxrandr-dev libfreeimage-dev nvidia-cg-toolkit checkinstall libfreetype6-dev libpcre3-dev libopenexr-dev freeglut-dev mesa-common-dev libtiff4-dev libglademm-2.4-dev libcppunit-dev libxaw7-dev libois-dev
I get this back

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package freeglut-dev
Is there something I am doing wrong? Or is there an easier way to install Ogre3d on ubuntu?

Thanks for any replies!!

Royce

oh and i "think" I have done the part where I point ubuntu to the right repository.... but maybe I messed that up. It involved "uncommenting" some lines
