Again, ipod troubles

Installing gnome 3 fixed my ipod touch troubles, but gnome 3 wound up seriously screwing up my system, and had to go back to plain xubuntu. I have ipheth utils, ifuse, and libimobiledevice installed, but the drive won't mount. Any ideas?

The computer sees the ipod when I do:

lsusb
I guess it's just a matter of getting it mounted. I have researched this a bit, but can't figure it out. How to get it mounted?
