Hi Friends! I have a problem in my laptop. I installed the updates which showed the ubuntu update window, which included a new version of the kernel. After the updated, i rebooted my laptop, it showed the login screen, I logged in but I couldn't come in GNOME, it only showed the wallpaper, but nothing else.
What can i do? Is it possible, like in Windows, to repair the operating system with the CD installation of ubuntu? This question is because i have installed a lot of programs.
