might cry soon, had so many problems and still nothing
latest problem when installing

sorry and error occured and it was not possible to install the boot loader at the specified location.

any ideas on how to fix? i dont want to install it on a different HDD

thats what i already have set up.
would it help if i created a /boot myself?

uh kinda new to ubuntu... so i have no idea what that means

Which version of Ubuntu are you trying to install?
It's likely that you are using the default settings so grub would be trying to install to /dev/sda, which would normally be the first available hard drive on your system.
