This is very annoying. Prior to upgrading to 11.04 Unity I was able to move around the rdesktop window, minimize it, etc. The height and width of the rdesktop window is predefined. I also have a dual monitor setup and at times move the rdesktop window from one screen to another.

But Unity is making it impossible to work with this normally. It forces the window maximized but there are no icons for unmaximize, minimize, close, or move it from where it opened.

I tried to do an exception in Compiz for the window decoration for rdeskop. But that has no affect.

Is there anything that can be done with this?](*,)

I have a similar issue that I find quite irritating & time-consuming.

Most times that I try to move a window to the right, so that I can use it in conjunction with another window, the action of moving it triggers it to become full-screen.

It takes multiple attempts to finally get the respective windows the size & position that I want.

As I have a 24 inch monitor, I would prefer to be able to work comfortably in the space available.

Is there some preference field that can be used to disable this "feature"?

Regards, Garry.
