I have Ubuntu 10.10 installed on my machine which contains an ATi Radeon 9600 XT graphics card.
3D performance was never as good as in Windows but it was good enough, and I could run games like OpenArena.
However, recently, I have noticed a performance issue... OpenArena for example is now running about 1FPS even in the menu, SuperTuxKart won't even start, and the output from glxinfo | grep "renderer string" returns "OpenGL renderer string: Software Rasterizer"
I have a feeling that a recent update of some kind has wrecked my 3D performance but I do not know how\why.
Can anyone help?
