Alright. I'm at it again.

I've got the idea stuck in my head to start a forum.

That's fine, I have the necessary skills. Get a server, install PhpBB. Come up with a name. After hours of intense brainstorming, I settled on the name: TechMeme. Sounds cool.

Now, servers up, software installed, all things going well when:

http://techmeme.com -- NAME TAKEN!!!! (Why, o, why did it not show up in my Google searches?)

Now I have to come up with a new name. Great.

But, alas, with no creative bone in my body, I'm stumped for ideas.

Question: Anyone got any good name ideas for a tech forum?

Also: I'm looking for people who would like to help out, or those who are simply interested in joining a new forum. Send me a PM. :)

All-around Technology. Possibly computer(PC, Mac, Linux)-centric.

Well have you tried brainstorming some names?

Also sometimes its also good to use certain keywords into your name which google picks up on... so maybe its not always smart to jsut get what sounds good, but also what google will pick thus more chances of increasing your users faster...

in saying that it seems liek you want the word tech into it so here are some ideas...

techtalks of talktechs?
