Hey!

I'm unable to set GNU IceCat as the default browser for my user account (it's not on the list of available applications in the GNOME thingy). Do you have any clue why?

I have the same problem i cant set IceCat as default browser, neither in Preferred applications(under System -> preferences) nor with next command:

stayerc@stayerc-F5SL:~$ sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser
[sudo] password for stayerc:
update-alternatives: error: no alternatives for x-www-browser.
stayerc@stayerc-F5SL:~$

Where are these associations stored? I'd rather not put IceCat as the default handler of all my HTML files (I like to have them open in Gedit, and links to open in IceCat).
