I'm getting pretty tired of websites forcing the same small group of celebrities down my throat... It seems that every time they speak or move I have to hear about it. Is there a plugin like addblock that can block anything about those people?

Have you tried not going on those sites?
I can't really say I've had this problem on any of the sites I visit.

If you find it, let me know. Hopefully whoever makes it will create a version that can be used as a filter on my car radio. I"d gladly pay for it.

Seriously, I feel your pain. I"m a bit of a news junky myself and I get so tired of hearing "entertainment news" when I want to know what's going on in the world.

Start making your own Adblock Plus list, and spread the word.

Because the cultural sphere retains no shred of autonomy under late capitalism.
