This is a thread to show off how great a PDF document you can make.
Submit only PDF files made by you. The text contents isn't a factor. You can use anything (obviously except other people's copyrighted material!) and even sample text.
Its all about showing off your design and styling skills.
Use any software(s) to make the PDF document. But kindly mention it.

I' a first timer actually. :p Below is the link to my first PDF doc I made with Scribus. :)

It's jsut a wierd topic man. I mean.. if you have a PDF Writer, anything you print you can make a .pdf.

Here's a PDF, 1st page only of a my Army unit's monthly newletter I designed back in 2005.. it was all done in Photoshop and then printed to PDF.

HERE (https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B9YG6wZTcQSoN2Y5ZjM5NTgtZmYyNS00NDY4LWJjOGE tYzRiN2NhMmM4YWVh&hl=en&authkey=CIHwssEL)

yeah...I see
I was actually thinking about e magazines that are released in pdf format.
they have different layouts..designs; and I do think they definitely take some skill to put all those things together.
So, that was my point. Trying to create commercial grade/looking pdf s.

any way...I will be less embarrassed if the thread could be closed now... :(
people never seem to get me..or may be:| rather I cant make them get my point

My portfolio (http://issuu.com/intialonso/docs/inti-alonso-portafolio). It was made with Inkscape and Scribus. What you see at the link is interactive version build from the PDF thanks to issu.com

Yes you just needed to be more specific, I use PDF's for work all the time but usually for documents and technical drawings which I can't imagine would be what you are looking for :D
