Hi everyone,

I just got this new used laptop, it's a HP Compaq laptop running on WinXP Professional Version 2002, Intel(R) Core (TM) Duo CPU, T2400 C1.83 GHZ, 0.99 GB RAM, for someodd reason when I tried to install Ubuntu with Wubi, whenever the program downloaded the iso file, right in the middle of the download I'd get a message from Windows Firewall asking for a response from me, and I would click on the selection "Unblock." For someodd reason making this exception doesn't seem to help any, because the iso file being downloaded just hangs there midway on the indicator bar, not doing anything, I let it go for over 1-1/2 hrs. and it still didn't fully download. I tried this at least 3 x and still got no results to my satisfaction. I am a total newbie to this Linux thing, so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Help!!! :P
