do you use the Chromium package from Universe or PPA?

Since web-browser security is so important, I was wondering how many Chromium users use the PPA package instead of the Universe package to ensure that you receive security updates.

The Chromium package in the repos is from the Universe branch; hence, security updates are not guaranteed. And sometimes not very timely.

If I were you, I would use PPA. Anyways I really prefer Firefox.

I use the Chromium in the ubuntu repos aka the one which gets installed with apt-get install chromium-browser. I see no reason use use a version from an external repository.

I'm currently using it from the universe, but I'll add the PPA later to see if there are any changes.
