My system contains ATI mobility radeon graphic card, last time I've install ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX graphics driver from "Additional Drivers" manager as usually. Once I restart my system, it want to text mode and asking for user name & pass. After that I didn't able to move to GUI through normal booting. Then I boot the system through recovery mode in low graphics & uninstall the ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX graphics driver & restarted.

Can anybody help me why such problem occurs & how to solve them?

Should we work on installing the radeon open source drivers? Look at this page. It walks you through what to do.

Do make sure to follow the link to this page and fully purge fglrx.
