how to set up for broadband internet on ubuntu on lenovo.my video n audio player of ubuntu is not working.please help me.

Could you please tell us what version of Ubuntu you have loaded? Also, if your PC is a Dual-Boot with Windows, do you have internet access from the Windows side?

For the broadband/internet...
You shouldnt have to do anythinng but plug in an ethernet cable, or add youre wireless details.

for your audio and video not working...
You probably need to install the codecs..

So install ubuntu-restricted-extras , find it in the software center in your Apps menu.
That should fix your audio and video problem.,

thanks yar.but the problem is that i dont know where is the setting for internet.i know my internet ip address but dont know where to put.could u please guide me.

You shouldn't need to do that. Have you plugged in an ethernet cable and connected it to your router then reun System > Admin > Additional drivers?
If that doesn't work can you tell us what wireless card you have?
