I have been a gnome user for quite a while, and when i saw the new uniti crap i just got nough of it and choose to install Kubuntu, i know i could have just installed KDE or switched to the classic thing at login but i didn't because i am a spoiled brat :))
So anyway i have switched to Kubuntu and i had some problems with it it was slow as hell, but after installing the official nvidia drivers life started to come back to my PC and i also thought that i am ready to start my life again so i installed all sorts of programs and compiz also, now my main question is that after i made the necessary settings, that would ensure my eyes to be aroused whenever i would see my desktop, the shortcuts for the features did not work and also the effects where not applied, i choose the reload WM from the compiz options and still nothing. Could anyone be so nice as to help me out with this...?
