Hi,
Im trying to install xubuntu 11.04 on my 9 year old toshiba (256 MB Ram, Penium 4, 50 GB HD).
Since the CD ROM is a bit unstable, I am using Daemon lite and Wubi as installation tools.
The installaion process goes well until I am asked to reboot the PC to complete the installation. When rebooting the PC loads xubuntu, and begings the completion. However, during the "controlling settings" part it all comes to an end with the whole process freezing. Nothing happens for 10 min, and there are no error messages.
Anyone having experienced something similar?
