Recently the xfce login screen came popping every time I start xubuntu. In the Session and Startup, "display chooser on login" is not checked, neither is "save session on logout". Tried gdmsetup, it's set "login as xx automatically" and Xubuntu session is the default one.
It probably is some easy-to-solve, hard-to-find problem, like most in Linux are :)
