So, I upgraded to 11.4 some days ago, and I keep getting some weird glitches. The most irritating is what I have called the "Black Screen of Death".

It just happens, my computer sometimes freeze showing a screen with white letters over black background, with an ironic cursor somewhere in the screen. Obviously, keyboard and mouse are both frozen.

Sorry for the quality of the images, I only had a chinese MP3 PSP clone with camera. If it's useful, I could borrow a camera for the next time this happens.

The top part of the screen is the end of the boot messages, so you can see that it must be all the graphical interface stopping, due to ¿firefox?

Any clue?

It looks like a kernel panic, though I am not absolutely sure.

You can try adding boot options or booting into an older kernel as described here:

For the moment I can survive with it, it only happens once every two or three days. I just wanted to know if I'm the only one or if more people are getting the same, and it's going to be solved.

BTW, I updated from the previous version, and I'm getting several glitches, so probably it's just a problem on the update.

Thanks anyway.
