View Full Version : [ubuntu] Mac cannot boot to Ububtu DVD

I tried to install Ububtu 11.04 from a DVD as well as a USB, but during boot up, I held down "alt" and the only option I have is mac, no DVD and no USB to boot ubuntu. :confused:

Can anyone post the list of files that is suppose to be on the USB or DVD??

No, but if it's a concern, perhaps you could run a checksum on the ISO you downloaded.

I download it from http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download the 32-bit version, then follow the instruction to create a USB and DVD under that.

I have an intel Mac.

I would try one of the Mac x64 ISOs.
