Hi,
I'm a newbie to Ubuntu and Linux, and have previously had Ubuntu 10.10 installed with very little problems.
Since I've upgraded to 11.04 the images and icons on my desktop appear to be stretched. Windows and other programs that run the desktop appear fine. It's just the background images and Icons. Also, the icon that I create doesn't seem to work either.
For example if I browse the hard drive It creates an icon (stretched across the screen), but i am unable to double click it or move it there after.
Hope I've made myself fully understood.
NB. I run a dual screen( although this error occurs on a single screen too) and my grahics card is an ATI X1800.
