Convert .swf to video?

I have some .swf files on my desktop, I'd like to know if it is possible to convert the .swf files to video formats?

If so, how?

You can use ffmpeg to do the job. Check this tutorial (http://www.ehow.com/how_7367920_convert-swf-avi-ubuntu.html). If you don't feel comfortable using the terminal, install WinFF from the software center which has a GUI.
