Hello

I just decided to install Ubuntu out of curiousity and would like to congratulate the community for a very impressive distro. great hardware recognition and auto-configuration, nice tools and a well-maintained package repository.

Currently I have a 3-boot system running Windows (for gaming), Fedora Core 2 and now Ubuntu. The 3rd partition was my distro testing partition though it looks like I'll be sticking with Ubuntu and wiping Fedora next!

Great nvidia support here too, and it's nice having synaptic with the distro. I have only one gripe which is more of a general GRUB problem than Ubuntu-specific:

Why does GRUB recognise Windows partitions but not other linux partitions on the same HDD? It's really annoying!

But that's a question for the GRUB team.

Good work Ubuntu! :D

Well YES, its great distro,
I have used Red hat, Mandrake, Fedora, Suse personal, Novell professional, but Ubuntu owns them all.
