View Full Version : [ubuntu] Since upgrading to Natty, windows don't always draw

I recently upgraded to natty and I seem to be experiencing what I assume is a bug in the X server driver. This issue only began after the Natty upgrade.

When I switch windows, usually with alt+tab, the window doesn't always draw. For example in switching from a Firefox to a terminal, the Firefox window is still what's displayed on the screen. Sometimes the alt+tab switcher display will persist as well, for example.

As I interact with whatever window I switched to, elements begin to draw. If I move or resize the window, it draws in full. This only happens sporadically.

What's the word I should google for this phenomena? Is it a known bug? Any pointers on troubleshooting this?

Yeah, I'm getting the same thing, and I know of at least one other person who has experienced this.

I'm running Ubuntu Natty with FGLRX.
