I've been an Ununtu user since 6.10. Recently upgraded from 10.10 to 11.04.
I really wish I had waited until 11.10. Lenovo Z565 laptop (Which is listed as widely supported by Ubuntu), crashes, reboots, kernel panics. Boot-up is also slower by at least 10 sec. Broadcom wireless adapter may be partially at fault - however it was working flawlessly in 10.10 with the proprietary module. Seemed to get a little better when I disabled the proprietary in 11.04 - but today we're back to crashing, kernel panic, reboot.
What the heck? It's so unstable, I'm having to write this post from my Windows 7 partition.
Can anyone advise on howto make U11.04 more stable?
