View Full Version : [ubuntu] left click partially broken in Unity

Hi,
I haven't been able to find this problem on the forums.
I have upgraded to 11.04 and have solved wifi and (most) graphical problems. However, while my mouse and touchpad work perfectly when in Ubuntu Classic, if I am in the Unity version there are problems:

Left click works to launch, say, Firefox. Once in Firefox when i try to click any link, all that happens is that the cursor changes briefly from "pointy finger" to "dragging hand", the link does not open.
Similarly, I can open System settings (using left click) but once open I cannot select anything with left click (including the X to close it - good old Alt-F4!)

I know Unity is supposed to be great for keyboard shortcuts, but this is ridiculous:)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Graham
