I am trying to install ubuntu on my old laptops but dis message keep coming up on all


BusyBox v1.17.1 (Ubuntu 1:1.17.1-10ubuntu1) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for alist of built-in commands.

(initramfs) mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on //filesystem.squashs failed: Input/output error
can not mount /dev/loop0 (/cdrom/casper/filesystem.squashfs) on //filesystem.squashs :(

Sounds like a bad iso image. Try the "Check Disc For Defects" option at the first boot screen.

I tried it but, still coming up with the same message and try to use it without installing it still the same message.

What did you use to burn the image? Try burning at a lower speed, or download another iso image. It is not uncommon to get a bad iso. 99% of the time this error indicates a bad iso image.

I used ImgBurn.

I would try downloading the image again with a download manager that checks for missing bits such as downthemall.
